Instructions for how to find the dimensions of a poster in common applications

PDFs
- Open the document in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat
- Right-click anywhere on the poster, select "Document Properties"
- Size is indicated near the bottom of the dialog
PowerPoint presentations
PowerPoint 2013
- Open the document in PowerPoint
- Select the "Design" tab on the Ribbon
- Click on "Slide Size" and select "Custom slide size..."
- The current dimensions are shown in the dialog box
PowerPoint 2010
- Open the document in PowerPoint
- Select the "Design" tab on the Ribbon
- Click "Page Setup"
- The current dimensions are shown in the dialog box
Photoshop
- Open the document in Photoshop
- Select the "Image" menu
- Click "Canvas Size..."
- The dimensions are the values under "Current Size" in the dialog box
